This internship provides a unique opportunity for students pursuing a Bachelor of Human Resource Management (BHRM) or equivalent to gain hands-on experience across various Human Capital functions, contributing to the department’s initiatives and supporting organisational growth. This role offers exposure to diverse aspects of HR operations, providing a valuable opportunity to develop hands-on skills in recruitment, employee engagement, HR administration, and more.
Interns must be available to start in March 2025. Interns will be given a monthly allowance. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/phone call.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
- Assist in job posting, resume screening, and coordination of interviews.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide administrative support for the hiring process.
- Support the coordination and execution of onboarding new hires.
- Employee Engagement:
- Plan and organize employee engagement activities and events.
- Assist in preparing internal communication materials, including memos and posters.
- Collect and analyze feedback to enhance employee experience initiatives.
- Training and Development:
- Assist in coordinating training sessions and tracking employee participation.
- Help in creating and organizing training materials.
- Exposure to HRIS (Human Resource Information System):
- Perform data accuracy checks on demographic and personal information on HRIS.
- Support efforts in digitalising Human Capital documents for improved efficiency.
- General Support:
- Contribute to a variety of tasks and projects as assigned, aimed at supporting and enhancing the overall Human Capital function.
- Assist in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment by contributing to team initiatives and process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Human Resource Management or related field.
- CGPA of 3.2 or above (or equivalent academic performance).
- Active participation in student organisations, leadership roles, or volunteer work is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail and a proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt.
